Following the daring lead of the Richard Mille RM 025 diver’s watch, the RM 028 manages to pave its own path amongst Richard Mille’s diving collection. Its 300-meter water resistance is achieved through a unique tripartite case design using torque screws that can be individually tensioned with high accuracy. Each lug is made of grade 5 titanium, with the rubber strap screwed down for greater security. The bezel is constructed from three layers connected by 22 screws, making it impossible to dislocate or loosen. The in-house movement allows the rewinding of the mainspring to be adapted to the user’s activity level within sports or leisure environments by adjusting the six positional setting of the rib’s placement. All-in-all, the Richard Mille RM 028 represents an almost unparalleled feat of horological engineering, cementing its position as one of the more important diver’s watches of this generation.
